Built by a practitioner, not a sales team.
NextLayerSec LLC was founded by Matthew S. Levorson in Bismarck, North Dakota.
This is not a side interest. Matthew works full time as a security engineer at a managed service provider, doing exactly this work across dozens of business tenants every week: threat intelligence, incident response, endpoint security, and Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration. The tooling, the baselines and the judgement about what actually matters come from that, not from a course.
NextLayerSec exists to bring the same work to businesses that fall through the gap: too small for a managed security provider to sell to profitably, too exposed to keep going without any of it.
